  18. Yes, a possible problem is the inbuilt terminator if the drive uses such and
  19. they┤re jumpered. If the terminator is faulty and cannot be disabled, you
  20. may get alot of problems when connecting the drive to a chain with a proper
  21. terminator. And the vendor cannot find any problems when they tries the 
  22. drive with the inbuilt terminator.

  24. Another problem may be the SCSI-addressing. If the circuit is faulty, 
  25. the bus will lock if the drive is connected into a chain with other
  26. drives, but may works fine alone.

  28. If I could, I should test the drive alone and with inbuilt terminator
  29. to see if it┤s possible to catch the fault.
